I Guess if it's Gonna Snow...

We hate the cold... We really do.  From December to April we really miss the fierce Hawaiian winters.  BUT like Chris is always annoyingly singing to me, "Always look at the bright side of your life." SO we built our first snowman.

Milo named him Sylvester.  He was very concerned when he finally tipped over, and a couple of days later when he melted, he kept saying, "Sylvester come back play Milo".

Milo got to have his first ever cup of hot chocolate. . . He loved it.
Taya got to have her first ever Nilla wafer... She loved it!
It may not have been Pipeline Masters, but it was a great Saturday together as a family.

Mama Made a Picture:)

I started scrapbooking (shutterfly i.e. lazy style), and even though we have a TON of pictures of our kids, I am rarely in them because I'm the one chasing everyone around with a camera (It's the crazy Asain in me). So Chris and I traded places, and lo and behold mom exists:)
I love that fat face. . . Hers, not mine.
Milo had too much Halloween candy or was having a two moment or something, because we could not get him to hold still. This was as close to a "smile" as we could get out of him.
Now we just need to photoshop dad in, and we'd have some family pictures.

Yep, Halloween 2012 (Warning: Picture Overload)

Started out Halloween a bang.  Basically I planned a party that would be fun for ten year olds, then I invited adults and made them dress up.  Here was our game list: bobbing for apples, mafia, doughnut on a string, pumpkin bowling, animal noises (substituted with Halloween figures).
Milo was sick, so we didn't dress him up, and put him to bed before the festivities.
I'm still not too sure what these two are. . . but I'm proud of them for dressing up.

It's a good thing that we live on the west side... or I might have to be offended.
The night before Halloween we hit up our first ever trunk or treat.
Bob the Builder got over his cold just in time for Halloween! Thank goodness.

                             Fixin his heart?
Kinda freaked out by grandma bird all dressed up. The next day I told Milo we were going with grandma, and he says, "oooo, gradma's a witch!"
Halloween day we hit Black Island Farms.  It was kinda crazy with so many kids, but totally worth it.
                                     The cute cousins.

Look how much he has grown!  This was taken in the same place last year.
Halloween night we went old school and went door to door.  We had both sets of grandparents, aunt Chera, Uncle Bryan and two cousins... We were quite the crew! Milo and Aliyah held hands and Aliyah sang, "We're off to see the Wizard".  While Milo sang, "We're off Tractor". It was about the cutest thing I have ever seen... Other than Chris in his wig!
Halloween was a marathon. This is how Milo looked the morning after Halloween.  Note the chocolate still on his face, bugers, and crazy hair.  All signs of a great Halloween.
